Much of the work of Dev10 takes place online or at client locations. That’s why it was so special when Dev10 recently hosted a networking event at The Freehouse in Minneapolis.

All of the Dev10 instructors were in Minneapolis for training and team-building, so they were on hand to meet the 100+ Dev10 Associates who turned out to mix and mingle.

“It was amazing to catch up with some Dev10 Associates from my past cohorts,” said James Churchill, Dev10’s Director of Instruction. “I’m so proud of what everyone is doing.”

Launched in 2018, Dev10 has trained hundreds of people to become Software and Data Engineers. After three months of paid training, Dev10 Associates are matched with clients for project work.

The event at the Freehouse was the first in-person Dev10 event since the start of the pandemic, so it was particularly exciting for everyone to connect face-to-face.

“It was so amazing to see so many Dev10 Associates & Alumni in one place," said Tara Wyborny, VP of Talent Development for Dev10. "I loved getting the chance to reconnect with them and learn about the amazing careers they have built, their homes, pets & family updates. A lot has changed for them over the years.”
